The Guitar Summit in Mannheim is a music fair focusing on stringed instruments, especially electric guitars, bass guitars, acoustic guitars, guitar amplifiers, effects pedals, and accessories.

At the beginning of November 2024 the “Hanika International Guitar Competition” took place for the first time in Bangkok. Armin Hanika travelled to Thailand too, to present the first prize , a “Hanika 1a-DTL Custom”, to the winner himself.

Hanika guitars is expanding its range with four multi-stringed models – a 7 and an 8-stringed model in the recital line (Hanika 7-Pro and Hanika 8-Pro) and a 7- and an 8-stringed model in the professional line (Hanika 7-Meister and Hanika 8-Meister).
In 1953, company founder Helmut Hanika manufactured his first classical guitars in Baiersdorf, Bavaria. This year, Hanika Guitars is celebrating its 70th anniversary with the current owner, Armin Hanika. A guitar from our well-known workshop is still a symbol of quality and traditional craftsmanship and our "Limited Edition" for the anniversary tells a story of its own.
