Slightly curved fretboards constitute a pleasant compromise for players who do not only play classical but also other types of guitar.

Players who are also accustomed to western and electric guitars frequently find it difficult to switch from curved fretboards to flat ones. Our option with a slightly curved fretboard provides a compromise in this regard.

A curve with a radius of 12" (the equivalent of 304.8 mm) as is often found on western and electric guitars and our flatter option with approximately 30" (761 mm) are shown here for comparison. It doesn't appear like a lot but even a flat curve benefits playability when barr√© chords are played.
